Gutter Knight installs gutter mesh on a wide range of buildings and roof profiles – from lowset homes up to multi-story, architectural homes that have a variety of roof profiles and height we cover the lot.
When suggesting the most appropriate mesh for you, after a thorough onsite inspection we take into consideration all the surrounding tree types, types of existing roofing material, if you use a water tank and if potential bushfires are a risk and the local certification level required.
Another added benefit is the gutter protection mesh is powder coated to suit the colour of your roof and matching metal trim for the gutter also.
Gutter Knight supplies and installs a range of gutter protection mesh to suit all metal style roofs including Corrugated, Trimdek, bullnose (on verandas) and other types of metal roofing. Yes we do valleys too.
The gutter mesh is secured to the roof using machine formed metal ‘saddles’ that are held in place with galvanised self sealing rubber topped screws which places downward pressure on the gutter guard mesh locking it tight against the roof so leaves and foreign debris can’t get under the gutter mesh. The other side of the gutter mesh is secured to the top of the gutter edge by galvanised screws and a metal trim forming an enclosed area that easily lets water flow in but keeps leaves and debris out as they just simply slide off or blow off with the wind All fittings used are powdered coated to suit the colour of your roof and gutters to provide you a seamless and neat look.
Gutter Knight supplies and installs a variety of gutter mesh to suit all tiled roofs including concrete, terracotta, slate and metal tiles like Decramastic. Yes we do valleys too.
The gutter mesh is installed and secured up under the base of the second tile and then secured to the front of the gutter edge by using galvanised screws and a metal angle trim forming an enclosed area that easily lets water flow in but keeps leaves and debris out as they just simply slide off or blow off with the wind.
All fittings used are powdered coated to suit the colour of your roof and gutters to provide you a seamless and neat look.
Bush fire prone areas – Fire Ember Gutter Guard
Blue Mountains is a unique world heritage area and also is one of the world’s highest bush fire prone area. Fire management is high priorty!
Gutter Knight uses a specially developed certified and tested ‘Steel’ mesh system for use in high fire prone areas. This mesh uses a tighter 2mm aperture (hole spacing) and is specially designed for high bush fire rating areas – don’t be fooled by imitations on the market using plastic or foam fobbing off as fire proof; if it’s not steel it’s not a certified fire ember guard…
Our 2mm All Steel Mesh meets all new Australian Standard requirements for Ember Guards for all bushfire attack levels. The product has also undergone rigorous, independent testing by the CSIRO to certify that the materials used meet the definition of non-combustible prescribed in the Building Code of Australia.

Safety is our Number 1 Priority
Western Sydney Gutter Knight takes your and ours safety extremely seriously. If we deem a roof to be unsafe or dangerous due to roof / structural damage we will not work on it. Commercial jobs we perform ‘Risk Level Calculations’ and provide our own SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) prior to starting these jobs. Our team have ‘Working at Heights Certification’ and carry roof harnesses with them and are trained in their use.
